Bob Schupper - VP of Sales

 

Bob has had an accomplished career on the retail side of the Grocery industry. He started his career in 1984 at Wakefern Food Corporation where he worked for 16 years. Bob went through the prestigious Wakefern Procurement Management training program and last served as Category Manager of Dairy/Deli and Appy which became Dairy/Deli/Frozen. After that Bob was the National Category Manager of Dairy at A&P almost three years.
 

Bob’s last retail position was at Ahold USA where he served as Category Manager of Dairy for 14 years and then as Category Manager of DSD – Rewards. Bob moved over to the broker side of the business where he most recently served as Director of Retail Sales – Ahold USA for Prostar (RDD Associates and Star Sales & Marketing) managing all accounts at Ahold AUSA. 
 
Bob is also a frequent Dairy industry speaker and has held numerous positions with several Dairy Industry, State and Federal government organizations including being selected by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack as the only retail representative sitting on the Federal Dairy Industry Advisory Committee (DIAC).  Some of the other positions that Bob has held are:

• Board of Directors – PA Center for Dairy Excellence 

• Board of Directors – Frozen Refrigerated Association of the North East (FRANE)

• Board of Directors – PA Dairy Task Force

• Advisory Board – National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA)

• Board of Directors – Eastern Perishable Products Association.
